Often called “The Dynamic Duo” by the international
press, The Cunninghams are not only impressive musicians, they are scintillating
entertainers. Whether performing in a night club, on recordings or appearing
in concert, The Cunninghams mesmerize their audience with poignant ballads,
intricate scatting and electrifying improvisation of original and classic jazz
compositions. Their abilities have earned them accolades all over the world.
To date they have recorded 5 albums, one of which, “Strings ‘N’ Swing – I
Remember Bird”, won them a Grammy nomination. Alicia plays piano, sings,
orchestrates and conducts, while Don plays saxophone, sings, and plays all
percussion instruments. The Cunninghams are outstanding jazz vocalists.
